Looking ahead to expected adverse weather, an assessment of our site will be conducted early tomorrow, and consideration given to traffic routes. Parents & carers will be informed by text message about any closure as soon as possible tomorrow. The Academy will open for Sixth Form students to sit BTEC exams - they should come in if it is safe to do so. Our website and social media channels will also be updated with more information by tomorrow morning.

For parents of students who have BTEC examinations on Friday:

Even if the Academy is closed to most staff and students tomorrow, the exception is for those sitting BTEC examinations. Students should make their way to the Academy if it is safe to do so. There will be the opportunity to sit examinations in Summer 2026 if this sitting is not completed. We will start the morning examination at 9:30am, and the afternoon examination at 1:00pm, so please arrive in a timely manner. The Community entrance will be opened, and students can enter at this point and proceed to the Restaurant. Regrettably no catering will be available, so please bring any necessary food and drinks. Students may wear their own clothes and sensible footwear for the examination.
