Year 9 students Food Tech lessons at home

Due to the current pandemic, students have been undertaking their Food Tech practical lessons at home and producing some amazing results! All students were given a theme and practised different cooking and presentation skills at home. Year 9 students made a range of dishes from pasta bake, cheesecake and fish cakes. They were also given the opportunity to cook a family dish of their choice during half term.

Lailah Davies chose to make Lemon and Herb Salmon with herb crusted potatoes and pan fried asparagus.

James Geddes used a recipe from the Gousto home delivery recipe packs and made seared rump steak with spaghetti.

All students excelled in their cooking skills and made impressive dishes using a range of ingredients and technical skills. Well done from Miss Bhandal.
