Academy Hosts Employer Breakfast

Mon, 12 Jun 2017

The Academy held its second employers breakfast on 8 June for organisations who are interested in working with the students and teachers to help prepare students for the world of work.

The theme for this meeting was the Black Country NHS and its local opportunities, due to the increase of apprenticeships over recent years and the wide variety of career opportunities that are available through the NHS.

The event was well attended from a range of sectors and many of the organisations were visiting the Academy for the first time and are eager to become involved in the future.

Head, Mr Topper who was in attendance would like to thank all those that attended and contributed to a really positive start to the day and encourages businesses of all sizes to contact the Academy and explore ways that working with us can benefit local industry and enrich the education of our students to help them be best placed to enter the employment market.

If you are a business and would be interested in working with Sandwell Academy please contact Sue Timms at stimms@sandwellacademy.com or ring 0121 5251700 in the first instance.
